Through competitive tendering and negotiation CDC was engaged as specialist contracting partner of choice to this global veterinary nutrition manufacturing group.

Requiring ultra-fast-track delivery and constrained by tight fiscal and programme parameters, this full refurbishment project challenged CDC to design and construct over 400m² of controlled manufacturing facility suitable for licensing by the VMD, including two separate ISO 7 cleanroom facilities and assisting with the process equipment integration.

How we did it

The facility refurbishment began with the partial strip out and weatherproofing of the existing building. New walls and walk-on panel ceilings together with vinyl and resin floors and high specification roller shutter doors complimented the overall architecture. The provision of new HVAC to condition the areas together with dedicated equipment LEV was installed along with all key electrical services including lighting, equipment and general power supplies.

Through professional collaborative working CDC’s design and project management team exceeded all expectations ensuring the site will become a centre of manufacturing excellence for the group.
